The tidal forecast for the Derwent Reservoir is annotated as unavailable....... Granny 14 crew’s seaweed suggests it will be another summer 1976 low tide.

Not to worry, if you have managed a low spring tide at Blackpool; the real golden mile; no sweat. Flat(ish) water blasting on big wind days will still be available.

p.s. Thirty years on and it’s not like riding a bike.
