You are right Dave, it looks perfect on paper, but unfortunately I’m committed to something else today.

Hi Dave
I have managed to book a half day and can be there for 1:30pm. How is that for you.

Yeh Yeh ... it was too manic for me to venture out .. rigged my smallest sail 5.2mtr nearly blown over carrying the kit down to the waters edge .... didn't go out ( windsurfing coward ) ... nearly blown over carrying it back to the sanctuary of the rigging area .... Dave M on a 4.5mtr , Alan on a 4.0mtr, Phil on a 4.5 ( I think ) ... they are my hero's going out in that !!!

It was a bit marginal at MOB so first time ever I fitted an up haul on my 5.2 83l. Whether or not I could have uphauled it remains to be seen. After a couple of runs the wind quickly got up so much I could’nt sheet in. Hung around and had several more bashes but the kit was far too big. Could probably have got away with 4.0 and 73l but my days of changing rigs at MOB have gone. Hacking up and down that hill once is enough.
Nothing up here Tuesday but Thursday at Bamburgh beach is looking promising.
