DaveD and I are confirmed for this afternoon (13.00 - 13.30)...out on my road bike yesterday so feeling a bit sha***d but must make the most of a full res (at last)!

A great season opener today, westerly wind was a bit up and down but good enough for 5.7s...me on 98, Dave on 96, not sure about Stuart. The reach is now huge, the sun shone all afternoon - what’s not to like. Oh yes, the water’s a bit chilly.

Be aware that Ken was on site, he made sure that the buddy sailing rule of 2 on the water was observed.

I agree with Johns comments ... splendid day .... that is two very good days for me this week ! could it be any better ? now I need only for my aching body to catch up with my memories.

Took it easy on my 110; for what was predicted to be 12knots I used a 5.8M with plenty of downhaul. It was a lovely afternoon with some top runs across the reservoir.
