Beware.... Derwent Parking

Whatever you do , don't drive on the grass next to the windsurfing rigging area ( right hand side as you drive in ), it is a quagmire. Yesterday David D got his car stuck and had to be pulled out by the tractor.

Being the owner of the car involved I can reinforce Dave's comments - the area looks fine but is literally like a swamp, avoid at all costs even to rig, unless you want your kit covered in mud. A big personal thank you to the two tractor lads who got me out of a "mess"

Do we need buddy parking as well as sailing now to allow for all eventualities!!
