Derwent Yesterday 4th June

Unread postby dave d » Mon Jun 05, 2017 6:52 am

I had a very good 1.5 hrs yesterday planing on my 122 carve and new 6.5mtr Rushwind sail ( not quite as good as my very old Loft when it was new but it'll do the job ). I think I struck lucky as I was rigged and ready to go when the wind picked up .I'm beginning to think that a WSW is as good if not better than a pure westerly due to the break up of the wind by the tree line on top of the hill.
Feeling good today.

120 and 6.5m for me too. Great for an an hour and a half when I popped in for my lunch. After that the Wind swung more SW and got a bit gusty. The 3 windsurfer s down at the damm looked to be having fun. I was too tired to join them. Nice to be out.
