T15 Inter-Club Event 4 - North Zone

Last T15 inter-club event for 2013 takes place on Sunday 15th September at Pugneys Country Park, Wakefield. The best placed team at the culmination of the 4 inter-club events goes on to represent the Zone at the Champions Cup in October. Home club Pugneys have been setting the pace but new kids on the block Kielder Kestrels are hard on their heels and as Derwent's very young team gains more experience they are starting to deliver some better results. The Tachiguchi brothers from Couquet have posted some very good individual results this year and are further benefitting from doing a couple of national UKWA events which adds to their race experience. Former national champions North Lincs Invaders have been in a period of transition this year having lost a lot of their experienced members due to age - 15+. With a very young team they are once again developing for the future.
After 12 years of T15 involvement this will be my last event and the RYA are looking for my replacement for 2014. So if you enjoy windsurfing, have some competition experience and enjoy seeing the youg sailors of today develop into the Zone, National and and Team GB Development Sqads of tomorrow this could be the role for you!
