Anyone want a windsurf road trip?

Unread postby richie » Tue Aug 20, 2013 12:35 pm

I've landed myself a new job which is going to seriously impede my windsurfing time. All is not lost though; I don't start till October. I've just booked to go to Tenerife next week but after that I'll be looking at filling September with as much windsurfing as possible. Therefore if anyone fancies a trip, I'm available. Thinking of Tiree or Ireland but if the UK is windless I'll go abroad. Anyone fancy it?

I've been thinking of a long weekend in Tiree in September for some time.
Forecast dependant of course. Never been but keen to try it.

Would be keen on a weekend trip to sample some freedom from the rat race of work and family! Downside would be having to plan ahead to fit in with the rest of the clan.could use my van and share the costs, plenty room for kit.

Unfortunately my weekends are are pretty booked up for Sep. At the moment my only free weekend is 07/08 Sep. Does that suit any of you guys for a weekend or long weekend? I really want to go to Tiree as I've not been for a few years but that's a bit far for a normal weekend; but if you can blag a Fri and Monday off you can get 4 days of sailing in, which is well worth it.
